Class Descriptions

Ballet: The basis of all dance styles. Ballet develops strength, technique, proper alignment, and grace.

Booty Barre: Whip that booty into shape with ballet inspired exercises for toning, strengthening, and slimming. No Ballet experience required!

Mommy & Me: Experience the wonders of dance with your child in a fun, creative, environment.

Combo Classes: A great way to introduce youngsters to the joys of dance. These classes are age-specific and incorporate ballet, jazz, and tap.

Creative Movement: Learn the fundamentals of ballet through fun, creative exercises. 

Hip Hop: These high energy classes focus on coordination, combining body isolations and explosive movements.

Jazz: Dance to upbeat music as you learn jazz technique, style, and choreography.

Lyrical: An expressive style of dance that incorporates elements of ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance techniques.

Modern: An artistic style of dance. Modern emphasizes the creation of new movement rather than a defined technique.

Musical Theatre: Learn to sing, act, and dance your way to the Broadway stage.

Performing Companies: These are rehearsal classes for our 2011-2012 performance teams. For more information on these teams click here.

Pilates & Stretch/Tone:  Strengthen, tone, and elongate your muscles while improving body alignment, joint mobility, and core strength.

Tap:  Increase coordination as you get your feet moving with steps to create fun sounds, and rhythms.

Zumba:  Get in shape by moving and grooving with a variety of world dance styles. Take the "work" our of "working out."
