Jennifer Gorgulho - Instructor

Jennifer Gorgulho is currently working towards her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance at San Jose State University. She is a member of the SJSU Modern Dance Company, University Dance Theatre (UDT), and part of the Hip Hop dance company, Soul Conspiracy. She has also performed and competed with the PACK contemporary performance company at Nor Cal Dance Arts. Jennifer trained for 15 years at Sheri's Born to Dance/Nor Cal Dance Arts where she received professional training in Ballet/Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Production/Theatre, Contemporary/Modern, Hip Hop, and Sports Acrobatics. She was a member of the Archbishop Mitty High School Competitive Dance Team for 3 years where she was also Co-Captain and Choreographer. Jennifer has 14 years of National-level competition experience. She has performed and choreographed for many musical productions at Presentation High School and Archbishop Mitty High School. Some choreography and performance rolls include, "Annie," "The Will Rogers Follies," "Grease," and "Beauty and the Beast." Jennifer has previously taught for Dance Kraze, Nor Cal Dance Arts, and Sheri's Born to Dance. Her teaching experiences encompass many styles of dance and a large range of ages and abilities. Specifically, she has taught classes in Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Ballet, and Ballet/Tap combo. Jennifer is excited to be joining the Dance Effects teaching staff and is looking forward to the upcoming year!
