Kiera Lloyd - Creative Movement, Modern, Performing Company teacher

 Kiera Lloyd has 19 years of extensive dance training in ballet, jazz, modern, and lyrical. She now enjoys sharing her love of dance with students of all levels. Kiera grew up in Vernon Hills, Illinois where she started dancing. She continued her training in Agoura Hills, CA in high school. She was a member of the Terpsichore Dance Ensemble from 1999-2003 and a member of the Pacific Festival Ballet from 2004-2007. At Oaks Christian High School, Kiera was Dance Captain of her dance team for 3 years. She also was a featured dancer in the musicals Fiddler on the Roof, Kiss Me Kate, and Guys and Dolls. She graduated from Santa Clara University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Education along with a minor in dance. She is currently working on her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Santa Clara’s graduate school of Education. While at Santa Clara University, Kiera choreographed for Gallery 2009, Charisma 2010, and SCU Presents. She was a teaching assistant at Santa Clara for Dance Composition and Modern 1. Kiera has been featured in Santa Clara’s productions of Images (2008-2011), Gallery (2007-2011), Charisma, Senior Recitals, Abydos, and Migrations. Kiera is thrilled to be teaching at Dance Effects!
